TRIESTE, ITALY - Trieste is hosting the 10th Edition of the famous “Olio Capitale”, the international top quality extra-virgin oil trade show.

It will take place from the 5th to the 8th March at the ‘Stazione Marittima’, Trieste main congress hall, on the seaside.

Since the main exhibitors are companies and producers, local promotion authorities, specialized press, the Trade Fair confirms itself to be the perfect showcase for extra-virgin oil and related products.

Visitors are selected and highly qualified restaurateurs, wholesalers, HoReCa distributors and retailers, agents, domestic and foreign buyers, oil bars and food retailers.

The exhibition focuses on Italian products but among the hundreds of exhibitors there are also numerous producers from Croatia, Greece and Spain.

For the first time ever World Trade Center Trieste, together with World Trade Center Istanbul, has organized the incoming of Turkish oil producers, exhibitors and visitors.

Such occasion gives both parties the opportunity to enlarge their markets, thanks to the targeted matchmaking agenda between producers and buyers.

Furthermore, the delegation from Istanbul will visit the Port of Trieste, getting to learn more about the great benefits of investing in Trieste thanks to its special status of Customs Free Port.

As much means that within its borders goods are considered external to the European Union customs borders and so can be limitlessly stored and freely transit through the port, transformed on-site and exported again overseas, and only in case of import into the EU they pay customs duties, but with a 180-day deferment.
