At the end of January, WTC Trieste hosted for the second time the annual WTCs European Regional Meeting.

It has been a very useful opportunity for the WTC delegates to exchange reciprocal business experiences, common problems and solutions, and to establish new business links.

The event was attended by a dozen WTCs from across Europe, other Non-European countries and Board Members and CEO of WTCA. Of those Members attending the conference, they represented assets worth in excess of €3.2bn which provide almost 9m sqft of commercial accommodation.

In the morning, the attendees were engaged in a board discussion on the implementation of the business plan for 2018-2020. This was followed by a detailed presentation from the Director of Communications and Member Relations, Alex Brown, on the director in relation to the Marking and Promotional initiatives. 

During the roundtables, the delegates discussed about different themes, related to “Real Estate” and “Business Services”, coordinated by Board Members, an open forum for Member input into the direction of travel relating to these two initiatives.

At the end of the session, it has been proposed another appointment for a “2018 WTCs European Regional Meeting”, which will take place in June in Cyprus. We strongly encourage your attendance to it.
