SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA – 31st of December, the last day of 2015, WTC Seoul (Korea International Trade Association) and Hyundai motor co-hosted the 5th annual “The Brilliant Countdown”. Streets were blocked and countless Seoul citizens filled the area from COEX to Gangnam station.

Popular Korean singers like PSY and Epic High performed on the stage, and final countdown was followed by DJ Koo’s New Year party.

Sixty large balloons were installed around the Gangnam area for pedestrians to leave New Year messages. Later, they were released in the air as part of the countdown ceremony along with the fireworks.

Korea International Trade Association, Hyundai Motor, and Gangnam-gu office signed the MOU to co-host “The Brilliant Countdown” and further assisting Yeongdongdaero’s economic and cultural development henceforth.
