2023 China International Consumer Products EXPO (Hainan Expo) was held from April 10-15 in Haikou city, Hainan province. During the EXPO, WTC Haikou hosted the “Global Entrepreneurs Free Trade Port Summit” on April 9. 

Co-hosted with and supported by the WTCA, Hainan Enterprise Confederation and the Hainan Entrepreneurs Association, China Enterprise Confederation and local authorities, the Summit aims to build a platform for global entrepreneurs to leverage the Hainan Free trade Port (FTP) and jointly explore the future of investment and trade to promote regional prosperity. 

Robin Van Puyenbroeck, Executive Director – Business Development, delivered welcome remarks to the summit. Dr. Vijay Kalantri, Chairman of WTC Mumbai & Board Member of WTCA and Mr. Neil Kidd, CEO of WTC Perth sent video messages of congratulation to the Summit. Nearly 400 delegates attended the meeting. 

The agenda included keynote speeches, panel discussion, launching ceremony of the WTC Haikou "First Stop of the Free Trade Port" Global Corporate Service Partnership Program, among others. The meeting was followed by tour to local industrial parks and investment projects.
