In my role as European Membership Coordinator I am responsible for engaging WTCA membership, crafting plans to strengthen the portfolio of Members, and ensuring growth for the region. This also includes providing support and service to each WTC member in the region to enable them to meet both the WTC’s and the WTCA’s needs and goals.
Before joining the WTCA, I worked for 10 years as the General Manager at the World Trade Centers in Malmö, Lund and Helsingborg in Sweden. During this time, I contributed to the development of five WTC buildings with a total of 50,000 square meters, including traditional office spaces, co-working spaces, conference facilities and business services. Additionally, I served as the Chairman of the WTC Club in Malmö, Lund and Helsingborg overseeing Member and Trade services in addition to roughly 30 annual events and seminars. I have also held the positions of Marketing Manager and Strategic Business, Product and Service Development Manager at the Property Development Company, which holds the WTC licenses in Malmö, Lund and Helsingborg.
With more than 15 years of experience positioning brands, organizations and thought leaders, I was hired by the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) in 2016 and charged with spearheading organizational strategy for both communications and member relations. I have overseen multiple endeavors aimed at serving members with a more robust portfolio of programing, and positioning the WTCA and WTC brands by offering an important organizational point-of-view in today’s uncertain and shifting global trade-and-investment environment.
Prior to joining WTCA I worked at a boutique integrated-communications agency providing strategic counsel to local, regional and global brands and executives. Before that I opened the first corporate communications and press office in the Americas for one of the world’s largest scientific, technical and medical publishers.
I hold a Master of Science in Strategic Communications from Columbia University in New York City, and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in Russian Language and Literature from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. I am married and live in Manhattan, and when I am not in the office you can find me on the ice playing hockey in a New York City adult league, exploring the city I love or striking out for distant horizons pursuing my passion for travel.
As an Accounting Manager, I generate accounts receivable invoices and maintains customer invoices files and collect WTC Dues. I also assist with month end closings and year-end audits.
With over a decade of experience cultivating relationships between organizations, I am responsible for encouraging and empowering Members to engage with each other, and the Association. I’m here to both listen to what you need, as well as dig deeper into areas that could add value to your WTC. To do so, my mission is to develop programming and services that will enhance your membership with the Association.
Prior to joining WTCA, I successfully engaged organizations in the New York City blood donation program. More specifically, I spearheaded projects to actively engage corporate clients in the non-profit’s mission. As a member of the Association of Donor Recruitment Professionals, I spoke to the success of this programming at the international annual conference in 2015 in “A Sweet & Salty Balance: Blending Blood Center Needs with Corporate Clients.” Prior to this, I worked in Special Events for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, coordinating activities, such as the Light the Night Walk.
A senior executive with a concentration in building sustainable business models, Ferguson brings more than 30 years of experience in international business and the WTC Network to the role of Chief Executive Officer. Most recently, he was President and CEO of Trade Centre Limited, an Atlantic Canadian organization that operates “World Trade Center Halifax” in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
During his tenure at WTC Halifax, Scott received international and national recognition for his ability to innovate and foster organizational growth, most notably with the development of the largest convention center in Eastern Canada, the Halifax Convention Centre. He was also the lead in developing an operational model for WTC Halifax with an emphasis on membership growth, events, and the delivery of trade education services.
Scott is credited with securing many corporate partnerships to support revenue generation for the WTC Halifax operations, including a 10-year naming rights partnership, and substantial funding from three levels of government to construct the region’s premier convention facility.
With an MBA from Saint Mary’s University, Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from Acadia University and an ICD.D Designation from the Canadian Institute of Corporate Directors. He has been a guest speaker on business strategy at regional and international industry events.
Scott’s professional affiliations include the following: Director, Convention Centers of Canada; Member, AIPC (International Association of Convention Centres); Member, International Association of Venue Managers; ICCA (International Congress and Convention Centre Association) , UFI (Global Exhibition Association) TEC Canada, Tourism Industry Association of Nova Scotia, Maritimes Energy Association, Destination Halifax board member, Hotel Association of Nova Scotia board member; the Canadian Institute of Corporate Directors, Maritime Chapter, board member; Connect Nova Scotia Leadership Team member.
In 2015, Scott was named one of Atlantic Canada’s top 50 CEO’s by Atlantic Business Magazine for the second time. Past accomplishments include co-chairing the 2011 Canada Winter Games Bid committee and serving as the Halifax Chair for the 2008 World Hockey Championship, an event that won the 2009 Canadian Sport Tourism Alliance PRESTIGE Award for the Sport Event of the Year.

My responsibilities include preparing the financial reports, managing the investments, assisting with payroll and 401K and managing all WTCA bank accounts.
A business leader I look up to: I look up to Steve Jobs for turning Apple into such a global technology company. Apple's product has dominated the market and continues to do so because it's a strong and reputable product.
I have gained extensive experience in the intellectual property area in consumer products industry and other areas.
Chanelle Kasik is the Communications Manager at the World Trade Centers Association's Headquarters in New York where she manages internal communications (via Member e-blasts, WTCA Meridian, and WTCA's social media channels) and external communications/media relations alongside WTCA's PR firm of record, Allison+Partners.
With nearly a decade of experience in public relations, she has worked with B2B, financial service, hospitality, pharmaceutical and real estate clients. Notable current and past clients include Bloomberg Live (formerly Bloomberg Link) Conferences; Bristol-Myers Squibb; Concierge Auctions; Deloitte Digital; D+H; DJK Residential; Eli Lilly and Company; Halstead Property Development Marketing (HPDM); Novartis Vaccines; Perkins+Will’s New York office; and The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. In her past roles at various PR agencies, she provided strategic counsel and support for her clients, and led the day-to-day implementation of client deliverables including media relations, internal communications, and account management. During this time, her key focus was to foster relationships between her clients and the media, positioning them as thought leaders in their respective industries.
Born and raised in the Bay Area of California, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in communications with a concentration in public relations from Boston University.
Xiang Li joined WTCA Beijing Rep. office as Business Development (BD) Manager. Li received a Bachelor of Communications with Social Studies from the University of Malta. She last worked as BD Manager at WTC (Beijing) Business Services Co., LTD for 1.5 years. Previously, Li worked as a Membership and BD Manager at International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) for 2 years.
I'm a Business Assistant of World Trade Centers Association Beijing Representative Office, mainly responsible for the marketing promotion, such as WeChat account, Weibo, and Newsletter, etc. And also in charge of administration of WTCA Beijing Representative Office.

Mr. Manansingh’s most recent position was as Chief Information Officer at Judlau Contracting in NY and Washington DC, where he directed strategic and budget planning for IT services, and managed IT projects at multiple company sites. Before that Arun spent 11 years as Senior VP for IT services at SMBC Leasing and Finance (a subsidiary of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Group) in NY and London, and as Information Technology Consultant at Titan Microsystems in NY.
Mr. Manansingh has managed IT organizations and projects as well as software development teams. He also brings experience in IT vendor selection and management. Arun thus has broad experience in the areas of IT planning and execution, shared IT services operations, software applications development, disaster recovery and introduction of KPIs and dashboards and other enforcement controls to mitigate business and technological risks.
Mr. Manansingh holds a BS degree in Architecture from the New York Institute of Technology.
Manage and assist with the overall functions and financial processes of the Accounting and Finance Department. Responsible for human resources, payroll and assist with processes of accounts payable, receivable, collections, bank reconciliations, general ledger and reports.

Advise the WTCA Board and its Committees on governance matters, assist in the preparation of agendas, reports and materials related to the Board’s and Committees’ work, participate in their meetings, and prepare the minutes and follow-up reports that relate to the Board’s and Committees’ actions on behalf of the Association and its Members.
I support WTCA members through all aspects of the accreditation process; from assessing their readiness to undergo the process, providing information and training, assisting during the self-assessment phase, and finally, to conducting the on-site evaluation.

Membership Development Manager
Carlos Ronderos Ph.D. supports WTCA activities in Mexico, Central and South America. Doctor Ronderos has been involved in WTC development and played an important role in the development of WTC in Colombia, Chile, Uruguay and Panamá during the nineties.
Dr. Ronderos has had a long involvement in international trade, having been a professor of International Trade at universities both in Colombia and the United States. He is an economist with a doctorate degree with studies in Bogotá, Scotland and Buenos Aires.
Dr. Ronderos is a former Minister of Trade of Colombia, has been an adviser both to the WTO and UNCTAD. He is a consultant to both private and public companies on international trade and has been involved in the discussion of a number of free trade agreements.
With a career which has allowed me opportunities to work in various industries, in different disciplines, I have built up a diversified skillset. When asked about my strengths, I would say my willingness to learn what is needed to undertake a project, and my ability to adapt fast, are my strongest assets.

Mr. Wang draws from his twenty years of expertise in businesses relations and trade in the U.S., China and other Asian countries to lead WTCA’s efforts in developing business relations in Asia Pacific region.
Prior to his appointment to WTCA, Mr. Wang served as Vice President of the World Trade Center San Diego. During his tenure, he organized 19 trade missions to Asia with participation of companies and senior State and local government/business leaders, and provided thousands of small and medium-sized companies with assistance in information, communications and connections for doing business in Asia.
He holds a Masters of Pacific International Affairs (MPIA) degree from the Graduate School of International Relations and Pacific Studies (IR/PS) at University of California, San Diego (UCSD), in addition to M.A. and B.A. degrees from Hangzhou University (now Zhejiang University), China.
Improve database systems and data collection efforts, prepare reporting for executive management or board review, manage integration of membership information and communication systems with digital platform. Respond to member inquiries, oversee WTCA Newsletter, and project manage the redesign and update of select marketing material.
Favorite place I have traveled to for work: WTCs Washington, D.C., Baltimore and Greater Philadelphia in February 2013 with my colleagues for my first WTC on-site visits to learn more about their facilities and service offerings, their challenges, and how they would like to contribute to and benefit from the WTCA network.
A business leader I look up to: Christine Lagarde, International Monetary Fund Managing Director, for having become the first woman in several noteworthy posts, her global leadership and network building skills, and her pragmatic style.
Brief Description of my job: I provide assistance in localizing major WTCA documentation and interfaces into Chinese; plan and execute WTCA events for the region; assist member WTCs in event developing/implementing and other services; manage special programs/projects; develop and manage training and certification programs for the region; and provide help in interpretation and translation.
Favorite place I have traveled for work: Australia, for its air, water, its sporting, outdoor, beach-loving culture, people's life and working styles, etc.
A business leader you look up to: Steve Jobs, because he is a charismatic pioneer of the personal computer revolution and for his influential career in the computer and consumer electronics fields.
