WTC Noida promotes MOX at major Investment forum

World Trade Center Noida through its trade services arm VERBIND participated in the Xiaomi Suppliers investment summit held in Noida on 10th April 2018. The event organized by Xiaomi witnessed the participation of more than 50 of its partners to evaluate opportunities for setting up local base in India.
The agenda of this summit was to help the suppliers understand about opportunities in the India market, incentives offered by Center and State government, FDI policy, industrial policy and various state sector-specific policies.
World Trade Center Noida represented by its Executive Director Ms. Khair Ull Nissa Sheikh made a pitch for Mobile Open Exchange Cluster (MOX). MOX is a focused mobile ecosystem that is built on three pillars, i.e infrastructure, hardware and software, addressing the challenges faced technology companies through access to skilled human resources and enabling synergies. MOX being the initiative of the UP Government has identified Tech Zone in Greater Noida to act as a nucleus for MOX. Ms. Khair stated that “MOX will help in building efficient supply chain systems due the close proximity of the infrastructure service providers, retailers, distributors, handset manufacturers, providers of mobile content, application and services”
Government of Uttar Pradesh through its nodal agencies will facilitate interested companies to obtain necessary permission, registration, approvals, clearances, etc, as per the existing facilities, rules and regulations of the state government and would also help to avail incentives under various schemes announced by state/central Government, whichever applicable.
Earlier in the day Mr. Sanjeev Saran, Additional Chief Secretary-IT & Electronics, Government of UP paid a visit to the facilities of World Trade Centre Noida and MOX zone in order to ascertain the growth and potential of MOX zone. Mr. Saran complimented WTC Noida and its endeavors in promotion of trade and investment in the region.
