WTC Navi Mumbai Promoting " Make In India "

WTC Navi Mumbai is promoting “ Make in India “ in its own way . India is now focussing on this ambitious “ Make in India “ Program to provide thrust to the manufacturing activity in the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself has accorded top priority to the manufacturing sector . No wonder therefore he is visiting Mumbai on February 13 , 2016 ,to inaugurate the much-awaited “ Make in India “ week . This Expo and Conferences on the theme of Manufacturing Competitiveness in India will witness participation of several countries and thousands of delegates and visitors.
WTC Navi Mumbai has thought of promoting “ Make in India “ Campaign in its own but rather unusual way. The WTC Navi Mumbai is being established in Raheja Business District I and is promoted by the wellknown Raheja Universal Group. It will have its normal WTC facilities like Office Towers , Town Plaza including Exhibition Space , Meeting Rooms , Retail Space , Business Centre and so on. WTC Navi Mumbai has already initiated its trade services like Trade Education and Trade Information.
As part of Raheja District I , promoters of the WTC have also provided 100000+ sft industrial space to the well known group from Taiwan for manufacture of mobile phones.India itself offers a growing market for these hi tech products .
It was the initiative of Maharashtra State Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis to encourage and to bring investment and technology from Foxconn Group to India. WTC Navi Mumbai is contributing to this initiative and taking it further.
Yet another initiative of Raheja Universal is the establishment of an Industry Park as part of Raheja Business District II which is adjacent to the District I. This Industry Park will provide value added space to Small and Medium Enterprises ( SMEs ) with some facilities that are being established for the first time in the country. Navi Mumbai offers excellent growth potential to the industries especially SMEs in the areas such as engineering , chemicals , food processing , IT and so on. These and other industries will be accommodated in District II that will provide efficiency in production and upgradation in technology.
WTC Navi Mumbai services and facilities would bring value addition to such and many more initiatives taking place in the Region thereby contributing to the manufacturing revolution happening in India.
