WTC Mumbai Team meet Key Govt. Officials of Odisha

BHUBANESWAR, INDIA - Delegates from WTC Mumbai Meet Key Government Officials of the State of Odisha to discuss the progress of the World Trade Centre Bhubaneswar project.

A team from World Trade Centre Mumbai visited Bhubaneswar on 15th January 2016, for a meeting to discuss on the signing of MoU for the World Trade Centre Bhubaneswar project. 

The team led by Capt. Somesh Batra, Vice Chairman, WTC Mumbai and comprising of Mr. Y.R. Warekar, Executive Director, WTC Mumbai; Ms. Rupa Naik, Director (Projects), WTC Mumbai; Ms. Khyati Naravane, Asst. Director (Trade Promotion), WTC Mumbai; Ms. Sabha Naik, Asst. Director (Legal), WTC Mumbai, Ms. Nimeshika Natarajan, Manager Trade Research, WTC Bhubaneswar and Mr. Budhadev Bhanjo, Manager Trade Promotion met Mr. Sanjeev Chopra, IAS, Principal Secretary, Department of Industries – cum – Chairman, Infrastructure Development Corporation of Odisha [IDCO], Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, IAS, Managing Director, IDCO and Dr. Krishna Kumar, IAS, Vice Chairman, Bhubaneswar Development Authority in a highly fruitful meeting at Department of Industries, State Secretariat, Govt. of Odisha, Bhubaneswar regarding the upcoming World Trade Centre project in Bhubaneswar. 

The team subsequently called upon Shri. Aditya Padhi, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Odisha in his conference room to appraise him about the trade promotional activities undertaken by World Trade Centre Bhubaneswar since its inauguration on 8th July 2014, by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri. Naveen Patnaik ji. Shri. Padhi lauded the efforts of the Centre and affirmed all support to its future activities.

Further the team also held a discussion with Mr. Gagan Kumar Dhal, IAS, Principal Secretary, Department of MSME, Government of Odisha on the future agenda of the Centre in promoting International Trade by the MSMEs thereby enhance the exports activities in the State.
