WTC Moscow and St. Petersburg CCI: UN procurement

On January 23, 2020, Saint-Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a meeting of Petersburg entrepreneurs with Michael Detlefsen, Chief of Procurement of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). Meeting was organized by St. Petersburg CCI and WTC Moscow.

Mr Detlefsen came to Saint Petersburg at the invitation of the organizers of the Eurasian Event-Forum (22-24 January) and WTC Moscow to participate in the special session of WTC Moscow and CCI of Saint Petersburg «Participation of Russian event companies in the procurement activities of UN organizations» within the framework of the Forum on January 24, 2020.
Welcoming remarks were made by Yuri Burchakov, President of St. Petersburg CCI, Alexander Rybakov, Adviser to the General Director of WTC Moscow, Alexei Savrasov, Head of Trade Analytics Section of International Business Cooperation and Public Relations Department, WTC Moscow. 

The meeting was attended by representatives of export-oriented enterprises of St. Petersburg, manufacturers and suppliers of industrial products, universities and research organizations of the northern capital.
Mr. Detlefsen presented «E-procurement of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO)». Ekaterina Lebedeva, Vice President of St. Petersburg CCI presented «Services of St. Petersburg CCI on the organization of participation of export-oriented companies in international tenders».
UN organizations, including UNIDO, procure with a total volume of more than 18$ billion of goods and services.

This event is part of a series of activities within the framework of the project «Participation of Russian Companies in UN tenders».
