TWTC President Yeh holds Taiwan Excellence Summit

TAIPEI, TAIWAN –Taipei World Trade Center President and CEO Walter M. H. Yeh recently presided over the Taiwan Excellence Summit in Taipei, which was held following the 25th Taiwan Excellence Award ceremony on February 15, 2017.

"Brand development is something that Taiwan needs to focus on and something all Taiwanese brands should work on," Yeh said at the event with particular emphasis on the importance of innovation and brand development.

"It is a good opportunity for all Taiwanese SME and brands to shine on the international stage," Yeh said, adding that "all the award winners are the best representatives of Taiwan’s innovative spirit."

The Taiwan Excellence Summit, a half-day event held for the first time, attracted over 600 participants from home and abroad. All participants along with eight award judges discussed the global modern trends as well as how the products shone in the four fields of "R&D," "Design," "Quality," and "Marketing."

The "Taiwan Excellence Award" recognizes the excellence in top quality products from Taiwan. Selected by the judges, the award-winning products may use the "Taiwan Excellence Mark" for promotional purposes around the world.
