Many embassies had handcrafts available for sale including wood carvings from Guinea and hand-painted silk scarves from Latvia. The embassies of El Salvador and South Africa shared tourism brochures with federal employees, local residents and the business community all under the beautiful glass ceiling of the Reagan Building Atrium.

Greeted by the Ambassador, the embassy of Bangladesh welcomed guests as their hands were skillfully adorned by henna artists. The Kyrgyz Embassy had an exhibit full of vibrantly colored woolen handcrafts and clothing while their Ambassador H.E. Muktar Djumaliev tweeted on the day’s activity.
