The Netherlands Opens Consulate in WTC Bengaluru

BENGALURU, INDIA - His Excellency, Mr. Bert Koenders, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kingdom of Netherlands inaugurated the Consulate General office in WTC Bengaluru on Mah 7, 2017. 

‘The Netherlands chose the city due to its significant potential in the areas of trade and investment, innovation and education. We want to do business in the city that’s nicknamed “India’s Silicon Valley”, remarked the Minister.

The visit to Bengaluru by the Foreign Minister was a part of his four-day visit to India starting from May 7 to 9 to strengthen political and economic bilateral ties between both the countries. Netherlands ranks among India’s top ten trade partners and is a major investor in India in sectors like technology, energy, logistics, financial services and transport.

Apart from Netherlands, The World Trade Center Bengaluru also houses the Consulate General of Canada.
