The Moscow Times: V. Salamatov – CEO of the Year

MOSCOW, RUSSIA - World Trade Center Moscow Director General Vladimir Salamatov was recognized as the “CEO of the Year” in «Growth Performance» category according to The Moscow Times Awards. The award ceremony was held in Moscow on December, 10.

Conferring the award Swiss Ambassador to Russia Pierre Helg noted that this year winners in this nomination were for the first time determined based on the independent review of the largest Russian companies with capitalization over RUR 3.5 bln. The methodology was developed by the Swiss agency Obermatt and presented under the auspices of the Swiss Embassy. The results were translated into the first international rating of Russian top managers CEO of the Year – Russia – 2014.

Besides, the World Trade Center Moscow was shortlisted for The Moscow Times Awards “Best Business Center” nomination.

Annual Independent Award “The Moscow Times Awards” is bestowed for achievements in the capital city development recognized by the international community. This year it is held for the second time and famous Russian journalist and TV host Vladimir Pozner is now its traditional facilitator. The objective of the Award is not only to highlight the individuals’ and the companies’ success but also to help the international community find new ways to achieve success in Russia.
