Taiwan Trade Shows Commenced with March Success

TAIPEI, TAIWAN - Organized by the Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC), the Taiwan Trade Shows got off to a great start in 2015 with its shows in March. Success was in the air when the 2015 Taipei International Machine Tool Show (also known as TIMTOS) wrapped up on March 8 with a full slate of records. The 6-day machinery industry extravaganza attracted 7,130 international buyers and registered an 8.3 percent growth in attendance from the previous show in 2013.

Moreover, the 28th Taipei International Cycle Show (Taipei Cycle) and the 42nd Taipei International Sporting Goods Show (TaiSPO) opened on March 19 in Taipei with 1,457 exhibitors occupying 80,000 square meters of show floor. The two shows featured world class sporting goods from Taiwan, including bicycles, e-bikes, bike parts and accessories, fitness equipment, water sports equipment, and outdoor gear.

Following on from the success of TIMTOS, Taipei Cycle, and TaiSPO, a slew of major industry shows are set to take place under the roofs of TWTC and the Nangang Exhibition Hall. First on the roster will be a 5-in-1 mega show starring the finest makers of automotive and motor parts in Taiwan. To be held from April 8 to 15, the mega show will include the 2015 Taipei AMPA, Autotronics Taipei, Motorcycle Taiwan, EV Taiwan, and the first-ever Tuning & Car Care Taiwan.

2015 5-in-1 Taipei AMPA to Showcase Vehicle Innovations
As the one-and-only professional trade platform for two and four wheeled vehicles and related vehicle parts in Asia, the 5-in-1 mega show will be joined by 1,400 exhibitors across 3,800 booths. This year’s major Taiwanese exhibitors include TYG, Eagle Eyes, TYC Brother, SIRIUS, TW Racing Parts, DEPO, and SONAR.

Exhibitors from 14 countries ready to display a wide array of products
In additional to exhibitors from Taiwan, Taipei AMPA will be joined by exhibitors from 13 other regions and countries. There will be national pavilions featuring companies and products from Thailand, Malaysia, and China, as well as individual booths with exhibitors from Germany, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, and South Korea etc. With a diversified mix of exhibitors, there will be a wide array of products on display to meet the needs of all attending buyers.

First international “Tuning and Car Care Taiwan Show”
To facilitate the rapid development of the car tuning market, TWTC has planned the “Tuning and Car Care Taiwan Show” which will be held for the first time in 2015. The show will be joined by exhibitors who specialize in the tuning of automobiles and motorcycles as well as the related care and maintenance products. The show will enable buyers to find high quality tuning and care products from Taiwan, including tuning devices, equipment and tools, paints, painting kits, paint sprays, and maintenance goods.
