The Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) will organize the Taipei International Cycle Show (TAIPEI CYCLE) at the TWTC Nangang Exhibition Hall from the 22nd to 25th of March, 2017. As the show heads toward its 30th year, the scale of the show is expected to reach a record high with the participation of 1,115 exhibitors across 3,340 booths at the Taipei Venue.

Emerging after 30 years of sustained growth, TAIPEI CYCLE is now the second biggest cycling trade show in the world. “The mission of TAIPEI CYCLE has shifted to a platform for showcasing standard and innovative products that satisfy every link in the bicycle supply chain, including cycling accessories and covering the needs for all levels of the market, from day-to-day cycling goods to high-end products,” said TWTC President & CEO Walter Yeh.

Taiwan has long been regarded as the Cycling Kingdom, and TAIPEI CYCLE serves as the most notable platform for supplying the world with advanced complete bicycles and parts. With nearly 27% of exhibitors coming from abroad, TAIPEI CYCLE is one of the most-visited business events in Asia.  President Yeh pointed out that to reflect the show's new slogan "A New Worldview on Cycling,” in 2017, TAIPEI CYCLE is aiming to become a comprehensive platform that enables exhibitors and buyers to grasp deeper insights into the constantly evolving industry of bicycles.   Except for the introduction of the show's first-ever Demo Day, TAIPEI CYCLE will also launch an all-day forum and invite heavyweight speakers from New York, London and Milan to discuss the ongoing trends in practicing urban biking, marketing, design and e-bikes.

Also, the 2017 Taipei Sporting Goods Show (TAISPO) will be held at TWTC Hall 1 & 3 during the same time as TAIPEI CYCLE, expanding the exhibits on view from bicycles to indoor fitness equipment, outdoors gear and water sports products. Over 10,000 international visitors are expected to gather in Taipei for the industry extravaganza.
