Samsung President to Keynote CES® 2016 at WTC LV

LAS VEGAS, NV, USA - President Dr. WP Hong will be one of the featured keynote speakers during CES® 2016 on Thursday, January 7, 2016. Owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association™ (CTA), CES is the world’s gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies, and will run January 6-9, 2016, at the World Trade Center Las Vegas. CTA is the licensee of the World Trade Center Las Vegas.

Dr. Hong plans to provide a look into Samsung’s progress in turning the vision of the Internet of Things (IoT) into reality, focusing on tangible solutions and products in areas most closely related to our everyday lives, with specific emphases on Samsung's IoT data security and customer-centric mobile payment solutions.

As the head of global product strategy, Dr. Hong oversaw Samsung’s transformation from a mass market volume player to a leader in sophisticated mobile products. In addition to his work on the Android brand, he was a driving force behind Samsung’s innovations in IoT, multi-screen consumer experiences, cloud storage, music, video, e-book and game services.
