Record-breaking Attendance for WTC Winnipeg

WINNIPEG, CANADA - The Business InfoCentre, a service offered by the WTC Winnipeg, is an information hub offering local businesses tools and resources, customized research and seminars. Since its inception in 2014, over 100 seminars have being offered annually.

This past March marked the highest seminar attendance ever recorded. With a total of 339 participants attending 12 different seminars such as “Are you ready to import/export?” and “Exporting your art”, the organization has seen a substantial increase in comparison to March 2016 which recorded a total of 178 participants.

“I am absolutely thrilled to see the increase in seminar attendance. This confirms that the business community is always eager for new information and ready to take the time to gain the necessary knowledge and skills it takes to do business locally, nationally and internationally,” explains Joelle Boisvert, Manager of the Business InfoCentre.

“This record-breaking attendance confirms that Manitoba companies are looking beyond our borders and are increasingly interested in trade”, adds Mariette Mulaire, President & CEO.
