Powerhouse Duo to Lead WTC Winnipeg Board

WINNIPEG, CANADA - The WTC Winnipeg announced the election of Diane Gray and David Angus to Co-chair and lead its Board of Directors.

Diane Gray is the founding President and CEO of CentrePort Canada Inc. and previously served as Deputy Minister of Finance, Deputy Minister of Federal-Provincial and International Relations and Deputy Minister of Trade for the Government of Manitoba.

David Angus played a pivotal role in acquiring the WTC licence for Winnipeg in his former role as President and CEO of The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce. He is dedicated to the development of a future world-class building in which to house the WTC Winnipeg.

“I’m very enthusiastic about the powerhouse team that was elected on Monday,” Mariette Mulaire, President and CEO of WTC Winnipeg said. 

“The WTC Winnipeg is in expert hands as Diane and David both embody the vision of WTC Winnipeg; believe in the economic significance of growing trade in Manitoba; and have proven business leadership expertise. We established a solid organization under the leadership of our outgoing chair Raymond Lafond and look forward to growing and strengthening it further with our new dynamic duo.”
