WTC Jaipur in association with NIAM, Jaipur organized a panel discussion on Union Budget 2020-21 at NIAM on 10th February 2020. Dr. Chandra Sekhara, Director General NIAM, welcomed the participants. Session Guest speaker CA Divya Khandelwal, Corporate Consultant and Partner, DPK & Associates-Jaipur said “Finance Ministry’s agenda to allocate Rs. 2.83 crore for agriculture and irrigation, keen interest for NBFC’s & co-operatives to be more active in credit, to strengthen NABARD refinance scheme, Agri credit target set at Rs.15 lakh crores and Eligible. PM KISAN beneficiaries to be covered under KCC clearly highlights Government big push to the sector.”
Session and subject expert CA Pulkit Khandelwal, Promoter, Pulkit Khandelwal & Associates-Jaipur, explained the nuances of Union Budget 2020-21 along with discussing the taxation aspects of the budget. He discussed in detail the the new tax slabs for computing income taxes proposed in the Budget 2020. Going further, he highlighted various other important proposals pertaining to the abolition of the Dividend Distribution tax, revised eligibility of an assessee claiming Non-Resident status for income taxes, and new provisions pertaining to Tax Collection at source."
