Congratulations to Maryann Kopfer, 25 yrs at WTCA!

Nov 03, 2015

NEW YORK, NY, USA - On October 29, 2015, Maryann Kopfer celebrated her 25th work anniversary at the World Trade Centers Association.

Maryann has served the Association in many different capacities since joining in 1990. She began as an assistant to Nona Haimer and supported the production and distribution of the printed newsletter, WTCA News. She then transitioned to the role of Customer Service Representative, working with the 5-person WTC NETWORK team. As the first e-mail and e-commerce offering at the WTCA, WTC NETWORK was a new and ground-breaking tool offering pay-per-view services and an e-bulletin board with trade offerings.

Maryann then worked for several years as the Customer Service Manager for WTCA Online--WTCA's website at the time--responding to inquiries, registering users, testing new features, and administering the Online Catalog.

Beginning in 2011, Maryann served as the Member Relations and Communications Coordinator, which focused on prepping new Membership applications for Board review and follow-up. This position continued until 2013, when she took on the role of Office Manager, overseeing the needs of the office and all WTCA staff.

Some of Maryann's favorite WTCA memories are from the Member Seminar, namely the reception dinners at Windows on the World in the Twin Towers, and meeting Members from all parts of the world. She enjoyed listening to the many inspiring stories from Guy Tozzoli's life, and the many gatherings that were held at the office.

When asked to give a message to the Membership, Maryann shared, "I will always value the friendships I have made at the WTCA, both with staff and Members, and I hope that they will continue for life."

We thank Maryann for her many years of dedicated service to our organization, and congratulate her on this impressive accomplishment. Thank you, Maryann!
