2015 Member Seminar Hits a High Note!
NEW YORK, NY, USA - WTC Members attending the 2015 WTCA Member Seminar were asked to participate in an online survey, and 96% reported they were either “satisfied” or “very satisfied” overall with the event. Here are some of the highlights:
THE MOST USEFUL SESSIONS:
- WTCA Plenary Session and Q&A
- Keynote: Disruptive Innovation and Reinvention
- WTCA Innovation Exchange: Networked Support for Global Trade
THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF THE SEMINAR:
- Member networking overall and Speed Networking in particular
- Innovation Exchange and sharing information/ideas with fellow members
- Update of WTCA status through Plenary Session by interim CEO and HQ staff
SUGGESTIONS FOR 2015 MEMBER SEMINAR:
- Keep Speed Networking, but consider one longer session early on first day.
- Expand Innovation Exchange. For example, feature more best practices for revenue generation, offer a WTC “turnaround case study”, provide Q&A after each presentation.
- Extend, as much as possible, Q&A sessions and provide opportunities for open discussion.
To encourage survey participation, the WTCA held a drawing for a electronic photo frame. The prize was won by WTC Istanbul’s
Okay Basbug! Congratulations Okay!
One delegate summed up the whole experience perfectly by saying:
“Just keep bringing the WTCs together. The more we meet in person, work together and share ideas, the stronger we will be. Congratulations to all the WTCA Staff who organized the event. Very well done!”
