Utah Women in Global Business and Trade Conference

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH - Utah Women in Global Business and Trade Conference was held Friday, March 7th, in Salt Lake City, in conjunction with the annual March 8th celebration of International Women’s Day that was established by the United Nations in 1975 and is recognized worldwide. Conference attendees participated in workshops and learned from expert panelists on best practices of conducting business internationally, as well as how to maintain life/work balance and reinvent oneself. 

Key speakers included Chris Redgrave, Senior VP of Communications for Zions Bank, Sunnie Giles, Executive Coach, Elyse Ericksson, Managing Director of Export Connector and Carine Clark, President & CEO of Allegiance Software. Maxine Turner, Founder and President of Cuisine Unlimited was honored with the first “International Business Woman of the Year” Award for her outstanding contribution to local, national and international community.

The conference was organized by the Women's Business Center and Organization of Women in International Trade, with support from World Trade Center Utah and GOED. The following sponsors contributed to the success of the conference; NUSACC, Zions Bank, Kirton Mcconkie, and Jones Waldo.
