Third WTC The Hague International Gala

Oct 30, 2015

THE HAGUE, NETHERLANDS - Over 150 guests celebrated the WTC The Hague International Trade & Investment Gala on Friday October 30, with ‘The United States of America’ as the gala’s theme country. Guest of honor and key note speaker, Mr Timothy M. Broas, United States Ambassador to the Netherlands, gave an inspiring speech.

The event was moderated by journalist and author, Charles Groenhuijsen who throughout the evening accentuated the evening’s charity by stimulating the quests to buy lottery tickets. It was the first time that the gala directly benefited a charity, namely UNICEF (Den Haag voor UNICEF). This charity was chosen because of the 60th anniversary of UNICEF Netherlands and the special relationship that The Hague and the organization have.

The menu and the wines, all carefully selected by the NH Hoteles The Hague’s Chef, had a special American touch as did the evening’s entertainment. A performance by the famous Dutch entertainer and UNICEF ambassador, Paul van Vliet helped cap off an incredible evening.

Yet again an exquisite and phenomenal gala that took place in a sensational venue.

WTC The Hague International Trade & Investment Gala was founded to promote trade between The Netherlands and international partners. By bringing together key people in the international trade and investment sectors, WTC The Hague showcases its bridging role between commerce, government and politics at regional and international level.
