THE HAGUE, NETHERLANDS - The Hague Art Gallery presented the opening of the exhibition 'Crowned' on January 7, 2016.

For the exhibition we look back at 2015 and provide a platform to nine artists who were nominated, elected or have won a relevant art price in 2015. Is getting ‘crowned’ becoming more and more important to start an artistic career? But what happens to an artist when they never receives recognition?

The exhibition is a playful collaboration between four galleries from The Hague and will run in WTC The Hague Art Gallery till February 28, 2016.
