Promoting International Cultural Industry Fair

SANTIAGO, CHILE - WTC Santiago will cooperate with the organizers of the ICIF to organize overseas organizations, associations, enterprises and individuals to participate in the 10th ICIF. WTC Santiago will set up the ICIF Service Desk in Chile to give information related to the fair for potential exhibitors and visitors.  

The event will take place in Shenzhen, China from 15 to 19 May 2014. WTC Santiago will be responsible to organize cultural enterprises from Chile and its surrounding countries to exhibit in the Cultural Tourism Hall (Hall 8) of 10th ICIF. The exhibition content includes handicrafts, design, performing arts, photography, visual art, intangible cultural heritage and other culture-related articles.  The China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair is hosted by Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China, Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, State Administration of Press, Publication Radio, Film and Television, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Guangdong Provincial People's Government and Shenzhen Municipal People's Government. 

As the only national-level, internationalized and integrated cultural industries fair in China, ICIF focuses on exhibition and exchange and is committed to building a trade platform for China’s cultural industrial products and projects, promoting and driving the development of China’s cultural industries and actively advancing the globalization of Chinese cultural products.

In January,WTC Santiago signed the Cooperation Agreement to promote the ICIF in Chile and surrounding countries. On December 3rd the relation between WTC Santiago and the 10th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industry Fair – ICIF started with the signing of a Cooperation Memo. The Cooperation Agreement signed on January, 16th was the final stage to officiate the Overseas Business Promotion of ICIF in Chile and surrounding countries.
