World Trade Center Moscow is home to about 600 companies, with 170 among them are of foreign origin. Our tenants, along with the guests of our Hotel Cluster, organizers and participants of events at the Congress Center, members of our Sports Club and guests of our restaurants, "inhabit" WTC Moscow - they are the main characters in the life of both our WTC and other WTCs in the Association.

Today we would like to introduce our oldest tenant – German holding HELLING GmbH that has been choosing WTC Moscow as a place for its representative office for more than 40 years.

On the 7^th of December, 2021, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Federal Republic of Germany Sergey Nechaev presented the Honorary Badge of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation to the well-known German entrepreneur President of HELLING GmbH Nathanael Riess.

The HELLING company has been founded in 1863 and has a wealth of experience in international cooperation, working with more than 40 countries around the world. Of the total volume of activity, Russia accounts for 20-25%. The rest of company’s activities are carried out in Germany. First of all, this is the German Railways and Lufthansa. The company is active in both Turkey and Japan.

For more than 70 years, the company has been engaged in high technologies, in particular, non-destructive testing. A distinctive feature is, in addition to the quality of the products themselves, the provision of continuous technical support. The HELLING holding today includes both the production of medical equipment and a construction company. And the company cooperates with Russia in all these areas having already realized a lot of joint projects. Mr. Riess has been working in Russia for almost 60 years. Among Russian partners there are large metallurgical and oil companies, Russian Railways, Aeroflot company. Close cooperation has been maintained for many years with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. The company is also active in charitable activities. In 2015, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin awarded Nathanael Riess the Order of Friendship of People.

For more than 40 years the Moscow representative office of the HELLING holding has been located at WTC Moscow. HELLING GmbH has been one of the first tenants of the complex and remains within the walls of WTC Moscow to this day. As the Head of the holding Nathanael Riess says, during this time WTC Moscow has become a home for the company, noting very good working conditions, high quality of premises as well as quality of service and building security.

The general decline in activity, the lack of personal contacts during the pandemic greatly complicates the work. Yes, the work continues, but there is no that intensity, that personal contact. Nevertheless the Head of the holding hopes that the economy in the world, in Russia, and in Germany in the nearest future would return to the pre-pandemic indicators.
