World Trade Center Kentucky Helping More Businesses Become Trade Certified
Ian Mooers
Director of Training

In today's increasingly complex and fast-paced global business environment, more and more companies are investing in training for their trade operations staff to equip them to handle the ever-changing world of international trade. World Trade Center Kentucky continues to teach businesses each year to become trade certified and help their company reach global success. These trade professionals join over 400 individuals representing more than 125 companies who are already certified in International Trade.

The International Commerce Specialist certificate is designed for the trade practitioner and is accredited by the National Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarder's Association of America (NCBFAA). Industry experts in areas ranging from banking, tax, legal, customs compliance, market intelligence, freight forwarding, international marketing, and customs brokerage teach our intensive three-day program. Class participants learn from instructors and classmates alike.

"In order to get ahead in the global economy, it is important that business professionals have a broad-based understanding of international business concepts. The international sales person should cross-train in trade compliance and the trade compliance person should cross-train in international sales," said Darren Srebnick, Chief Trade Officer for the World Trade Center Kentucky. Srebnick adds, "Success in international business is related to understanding how the major functions of your company interact to grow your international sales. The ITC program addresses this critical need. "

The next International Trade Certification (ITC) class is November 5-7th in Louisville, KY.
