World Trade Center Leeuwarden is pleased to announce that we have agreed with the Netherlands African Business Council to work more closely together in our quest to facilitate trade activities all over the world, specifically in Africa.
NABC’s Managing Director, Ms. Rosmarijn Fens, and the Managing Director of WTC Leeuwarden, Mr. Evert Jan Schouwstra came together at the NABC offices in The Hague to sign a cooperation agreement.
To kick off the cooperation, NABC will participate in the Consult Days Africa organized by the WTC Leeuwarden. The first Consult Days will be hosted in Leeuwarden on the 11th of October focusing on trade opportunities in Ghana. On behalf of the NABC, Programme Manager and Country Representative for Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire, Ms. Femke Konatey-Dekker, will attend the Consult Days Ghana to further foster trade activities between the Dutch and Ghanaian public and private sectors.
The next aim of the cooperation is to organize a joint trade mission to Ghana in April next year, combined with the General Assembly. In close cooperation with Mr. Edem Kofi Yevutsey, General Manager at WTC Accra, we are working on a program specifically for a delegation of Dutch companies. Visiting a General Assembly is an excellent opportunity to introduce (Northern) Dutch entrepreneurs with international ambitions to the WTC network and to match them with foreign companies.
