JAIPUR, INDIA, 6 February- WTC Jaipur organized session on “Exporting made easy by Digitization and Education” in collaboration with Jt. DGFT, Jaipur and IIS University at IIS University, Jaipur on 6th February 2017. The was well attended by over 150 enthusiastic participants at International School for Informatics and Management.

Welcoming all the participants, coordinator, Dr. Seema Singh Rathore, International College for Girls, appreciated WTC’s initiative and complimented the efforts of Jt. DGFT office by accepting the invite.

Speaking at the session Mr. Satish Raina, State Co-coordinator , Joint- DGFT Office said “ Digitization has made cross border trade seamless.” He said “higher rewards have been granted to exporters for agricultural and village industry products, value added and packaged products, eco-friendly and green products, labor intensive products with large employment, Hi-tech products with high export earning potential.”
He further quoted “ Digitization in DGFT has been augmented since one decade, and has been playing and instrumental role in heading towards paper less regime. The efforts started from making procedure of submission ‘online’ in the first instance and with due acclimatization of the trade, was upgraded to “digital mode” to be operated through digital signatures.” This he said “has led to increased focus on maintaining quality and develop process standardization.”
