JAIPUR, INDIA - In a yet another quick round of Exporter’s interaction with the Government, WTC Jaipur hosted its maiden round table meet with Mr. Ajitabh Sharma, Commissioner – Industries & Exports, Government of Rajasthan along with Mr. R P Meena, Joint Director, DGFT Jaipur on October 25, 2016.

 Mr. Ajitabh Sharma in his Immaculate address to exports, shared his vision of creating a single window services platform for Industries with a focus on exporters. He also informed that the Export Policy of Rajasthan is being prepared and soon be ready for the announcement. He also invited WTC Jaipur to provide their inputs for the Export Policy of Rajasthan and for the first level of presentation on Export Policy chaired by Hon’ble Minister of Industries, Government of Rajasthan. Mr. Sharma addressed a number of queries raised by Industrialists and exporters attending the event.

 Earlier Mr. A. O. Kuruvila, Advisor – WTC Mumbai welcoming everyone shared WTC Jaipur’s vision to have a trade platform on Jaipur WTC Website which will provide information on SME’s in Rajasthan of various industry cluster and other relevant trade focused information. He also emphasized on the need of a clear export policy for the State, mentioning about the export policies of  other States like Gujarat and Odisha.

 Along with exporters from Rajasthan, the events were attended by senior officials from RIICO and GST tax advisory team of Government.
