On a quarterly basis, the World Trade Center Denver hosts protocol dinners to teach members about the practical cultural nuances of doing business in a specific market. Dinners take place at a local, internationally-themed restaurant and include a traditional meal that you would expect over a business dinner in that market. Cultural nuances at the dinner table are discussed in depth. Resource people from that market are placed at each table to provide a venue for international conversations about the market. Generally, there is also a brief cultural presentation over the top things to know when travelling to that particular country. Our next protocol dinner will be hosted this fall and will focus on Korea.
