The following topics will be covered in this presentation: International Intellectual property issues (including patent and trademark protection, trade secrets, and licensing and technology transfer issues) and common contracting issues arising from international manufacturing, distribution and sales arrangements (including, risk allocation, logistics, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, export control issues, and dispute resolution)

Instructor

Peter Kinsella, Perkins Coie LLP - Peter is a partner at Perkins Coie in the firmā€™s Technology Transactions & Privacy and Intellectual Property practices. His practice focuses on advising start-up, emerging and large companies on intellectual property, technology, licensing and transaction matters. Before joining the firm in 2010, Pete was a partner with Faegre & Benson. Prior to that, he worked in various legal capacities with Qwest Communications International, Inc. in Denver and Honeywell, Inc. in Minneapolis.
