We are pleased to announce the 2024 WTCA Asia Pacific Regional Meeting (APRM) is going to be held August 25-27, 2024. Hosted by World Trade Center Haikou (WTC Haikou) in China, the meeting will gather members across the Asia Pacific region to share best practices, discuss future plans, and network with one another.

Themed "Connecting Globally, Thriving Free Trade Port (FTP)," the 2024 APRM will take place concurrently with the Global Entrepreneurs Free Trade Port Summit which will feature keynote speeches, high-level roundtables, business tours, and brand showcases to share expertise, exchange ideas, deepen cooperation, and effectively promote high-quality regional economic development. Focusing on business opportunities in the Hainan Free Trade Port, the meeting will invite esteemed experts to share insights and strategies on how to do business in China amidst the current business environment.

To encourage participation, the WTCA is offering 50 complimentary registration passes on a first-come-first-serve basis. The complimentary registration only applies to Members from the Asia Pacific region and is limited to one attendee per WTCA Member. In addition, an early bird rate of $350 will apply to paid attendees registered before June 30, 2024. Regular rate of $450 will apply after the deadline. Chinese-English simultaneous interpretation services, as well as livestream access, will be available for the morning and afternoon sessions on August 26th, allowing delegates who are unable to attend in person to learn about the business opportunities in the Hainan Free Trade Port.

This event is followed by an optional half-day sightseeing tour in Haikou, as well as an optional one-day business tour to Sanya arranged by World Trade Center Sanya (WTC Sanya) where attendees can meet with local government and business communities, and enjoy the scenery and culture of this internationally-renowned tourism city “Hawaii of the East”. Detailed itineraries and rates for optional tours, as well as itinerary for accompanying person will be uploaded soon.

Attendees from 59 countries are eligible for a 30-day visa-free entry to Hainan Province (where WTC Haikou and WTC Sanya are located) as long as they enter Hainan with a direct flight from outside China Mainland. However, attendees who are NOT from the 59 visa-free eligible countries, or have a layover in a city inside China Mainland, or plan to visit China Mainland before or after the APRM, must apply for a visa to enter China.
