​Ron Drozd serves as Director of Export Programs and Services as well as the International Trade Specialist for Chester and Delaware counties. In these roles, he coordinates and promotes export initiatives such as the Pennsylvania Export Assistance Program and oversees export training and educational programs associated with WTCGP's “Selling to the World” initiative. With a geographic specialty in Asia, he is responsible for management of the WTCGP China and Asia Club.
Ron’s extensive international experience includes five years based in Japan including project development and marketing roles with Aoshima Architects and the Chukyo Coca-Cola Bottling Company. After his return to the U.S. for graduate school, he held financial and international business management roles at Fuji Bank and Citibank. He specialized in export development and international trade as the Country Manager for Japan at Mail.com and at the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia counseling exporters. He also taught international business as an Assistant Professor at Temple University’s Fox School of Business.
In addition, Ron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from the University of Nebraska, certification in Japanese language from Nanzan University in Nagoya, Japan and an MBA from Georgetown University focused on international business.
