WTC Tampa Bay Hosts Mexico Trade Expo

The World Trade Center Tampa Bay welcomed more than 50 vendors on June 16 for a Mexico Trade Expo. The event grew from the “Agri Food Expo Mexico”event held in the fall with WTCTB and Port Tampa Bay and expanded from produce, food and beverage to include textiles, travel and other industry sectors. 

The expo provided an opportunity to view product offerings and speak directly with representatives from Mexican companies looking for representation and business in Central Florida. Spaces were available for business-to-business conversations, and multiple agreements were forged on the event day and in the following weeks.

It also continued to expand bi-national trade to reactivate trade routes between the ports of Mexico and Tampa Bay. 

WTCTB hosted a delegation of 30 mayors from Mexico visiting the Central Florida region as part of the event.
