WTC Noida signs a MOU with ICFA

Lucknow, 16^th December 2021: WTC Noida, WTC Chandigarh, WTC GIFT City, WTC Faridabad jointly with ICFA (Indian Chamber of Food and Agriculture) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a framework for collaboration and co-operation for Center of Excellences in Noida, Chandigarh, GIFT City, Faridabad in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Gujarat, and Haryana.

Objective & Purpose of this collaboration is to setting up of Innovation Labs for Start-ups in Agriculture & Agri-tech, Policy Advocacy, Skilling & Upskilling, Research & Development, and Trade & Investment Facilitation support.

This MoU will pave the way for future collaborations and cooperation between ICFA and WTCs (Noida, Chandigarh, GIFT City, Faridabad) for all around developments in Agriculture and Agri-Tech Segments, connecting local agriculture-based businesses and members of ICFA, accessing WTC’s capabilities in trade & investment facilitation, entrepreneurship, micro-financing, skilling & upskilling, access to Markets, Mentorship, and Financing.

ICFA and WTCs will also develop an Accelerator programme jointly in Agriculture & Food Technology amongst other cooperation areas.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Tushar Sharma, Director, ICFA and Ms. Khair-Ull Nissa Sheikh, Executive Director of WTC Services.

Others Government & industry members present at the occasion included Dr. MJ Khan, Chairman, ICFA; Mr. Devesh Chaturvedi, ACS, Agriculture; Dr. SK Malhotra, Agriculture Commissioner, GOI; Mr. Alok Sinha, Additional Chief Secretary and APC, Government of Uttar Pradesh; Mr. RG Agarwal, Chairman, Dhanuka Group; Dr. RK Tomar, Director Horticulture, Uttar Pradesh; Mr. Vivek Singh, Director Agriculture, Uttar Pradesh; Mr. Sudhakar Tomar, President, Indo UAE Chamber of Commerce; Dr. Soumitra Das, India Director, International Zinc Association; Dr. Anup Kalra, Managing Director, Ayurvet Limited; Mr. Dhananjay Kumar Singh, Member, NCDC; Mr. Amrit Lal Batwal, WTC & Tenant Services, and other eminent personalities from Agriculture sectors etc.
