WTC GIFT City Markes Its Presence in China

GIFT CITY, INDIA - A unique initiative bringing together economic, commercial, and investment facets that intends to leverage the tremendous opportunities in India for Chinese investors; Consulate General of India in Shanghai along with Huzhou Municipal People’s Government jointly organized an India-China (Huzhou) Business and Investment Forum at the India Week celebrations in Huzhou (Zhejiang) that commenced from October 31st, 2016 for one whole week. 

Executive Director of WTC GIFT City & Verbind- its Trade Services arm- Ms. Khair Ull Nissa Sheikh joined the Indian delegation led by Consul General Prakash Gupta. He was accompanied by nearly 25 CEOs of leading Indian companies who introduced the latest investment opportunities in India in sectors like Smart Cities, Infrastructure Development, Urban Transportation and Power Sector, Banking, IT, and Finance, which are now available to Chinese companies under the Make in India programme.   

The city of Huzhou has been a key business partner for India and as such WTC GIFT City & Verbind’s association in the India- China Business and Investment Forum coupled with the series of B2B Meetings will further promote bilateral investments between India and the Eastern China region.
