Vladimir Putin spoke in WTC at “Russia Calls!” Forum of VTB Capital

President of Russia Vladimir Putin made a welcome address and a speech at the “Russia Calls!” Forum sponsored by VTB Capital and currently taking place in the World Trade Center Moscow.

In his speech V. Putin assured the Forum’s participants that the Russian authorities are not intending to eliminate the funded component of pensions; it will resume its working regime after the reform the aim of which is to guarantee safe-keeping of funds for the citizens. The subject of pension reform has become perhaps the central one while the President’s visit to the Forum.

WTC General Director Vladimir Salamatov: "World Trade Center is the place where many most outstanding and important for the country events take place. We are interested in and are willing to further on take active stand in development of national economy, and the example here are the events that were held in the WTC: Sberbank Forum, International Conference of Prosecutors, International Conference on Counternarcotic Actions, etc. »

The “Russia Calls!” Investment Forum, now celebrating its 5th anniversary, has been held since 2009 at the initiative of the VTB Capital Group.
