Teaming up with the WTCA HQs team, the WTCA Asia Pacific Regional Office (APRO) provided training to members in the Asia Pacific region on March 2 (English) and May 12 (Mandarin). The training sessions featured introductions and updates on the WTCA platforms and tools which were designed to improve and strengthen the operation and network access of WTCA members, including WTCA programs/events and communication tools from both WTCA HQs and APRO, WTCA Member Advisory Councils (MACs), WTCA digital platform, Reciprocity Desk, InfoShare form, accreditation, external partnership and resources, and publications such as the WTCA Trade Service Operation Manual and WTCA Membership Overview. The May 12 session also dedicated time to share and discuss building up WTC services operations in the new normal.
The training sessions provided an opportunity for staff members from both new and existing World Trade Centers to receive important updates and gain more familiarity with the resources available within the WTCA and beyond. They were well-attended by regional membership – the March 2 session was attended by 44 representatives from 17 World Trade Center businesses while the May 12 session was attended by 30 representatives from 11 World Trade Center businesses.
