PRESS CONFERENCE VN INT'L CULTURE & CHARACTER WEEK
On the afternoon of July 19, 2023, the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) and the World Trade Center Binh Duong New City (WTC BDNC) co-organized the Press Conference Vietnam International Culture & Character Week 2023 to introduce a series of events promoting the creative service industry in Binh Duong in 2023. Those events are scheduled to take place from September 14th to 17th, 2023, at the World Trade Center Binh Duong New City EXPO (WTC EXPO).

Binh Duong is a dynamic and innovative area undergoing a transformation towards an intelligent industrial-urban-service model that is closely linked with science, technology, and creative innovation. This transformation aims to attract industrial sectors, new investors, and enhance the skills of local workers, gradually moving towards higher value segments in the industrial value chain. Becamex IDC has been continuously innovating and contributing to the development of Binh Duong province with new models to promote the development of internationally oriented service trade and improve the quality of life for its residents, in line with the province’s direction of innovation and creativity.
By those contributions, Becamex IDC plays a crucial role in promoting international relations in various fields, and the establishment and the development of WTC BDNC exemplifies its determination to create international trade and investment connections. This series of events promoting the creative service industry demonstrates the strategic relationship between Vietnam and South Korea, as well as the commitments made by KOCCA Vietnam and WTC BDNC to continue implementing meaningful activities and promote the creative service industry in Binh Duong.
The overall event series will take place over 4 days from September 14-17, 2023 at Hall B, WTC EXPO. It is expected to attract 120 booths with 60 participating companies from South Korea, Vietnam and other countries. The event programs include:
- Viet Nam – Korea Character & Licensing Fair 2023, organized by the Korean Creative Content Agency (KOCCA Vietnam) from September 14-16, 2023
- The Learn & Play Festival 2023 (LAPF 2023), held for the first time in Binh Duong, Vietnam, as part of this event series.

Simultaneously, the MOU signing ceremony between WTC BDNC and Magiskator aims to promote the diverse, comprehensive, and effective development of Vietnam’s Character licensing industry. The MOU Signing Ceremony between WTC Binh Duong and Magiskator by Ms. Huynh Dinh Thai Linh – Director of WTC Binh Duong and Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Hong – Director of Magiskator aims to promote the diverse, comprehensive and effective development of the Character Licensing Industry in Vietnam.
This event series marks the next phase of cooperation between partners KOCCA Viet Nam, COEX, and WTC BDNC, aiming to create a new platform in the field of creative service industry. It is a great opportunity for domestic and international businesses to access international enterprises and promote trade. The local community also has the chance to learn and develop in new fields and industries.
Viet Nam International Culture & Character Week 2023 will be a milestone for Binh Duong to become the hub of Vietnam’s cultural and character city and to establish itself as a representative cultural festival in Binh Duong in the future. With the motto “Expanding Potential, Enhancing Connections” for all participants, let’s join WTC BDNC in building networks and paving the way for a bright future in the fields of education, entertainment, and Character Licensing.
