MOU with Institute of Cost Accountants of India

The World Trade Center Shamshabad & Visakhapatnam have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, the largest body of Cost and Management Accountants globally. The MOU was signed during the second day of the National Cost Convention held at Dr. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University on the theme Adhyatm se Atmanirbharta Kee Ore (Self-Reliance through Enlightenment).

The Institute plays a pivotal role in policy advocacy and reaching out to the Government policies and benefits to the industry, apart from providing Management Consultancy to the Industry in vivid areas ranging from preparation of Annual Budgets, Price Determination and strategic planning for the corporates and the MSMEs at large.

Both organizations have agreed to work towards providing requisite skills and training to the MSMEs, research publications and policy advocacy from time to time.

Over 1100 delegates from across India are attending the Cost Convention 2022.   The Cost Convention 2022 was inaugurated  by Durga Shankar Mishra, Uttar Pradesh's chief secretary,

The inaugural speech was made by a video message by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who commended the convention's theme statement, "Self-reliance through enlightenment," and welcomed the delegates to the state. He also requested that the cost management accountants take advantage of the state's available opportunities in the State.

Durga Shankar Mishra, Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh, has said that the Cost Accountants should grab the opportunity of the changing scenario in the state and contribute positively to the growth.  He talked about the vision of the Government of India to make the country one of the World’s top three economies and be a developed nation by the 100th year of independence. Mishra also threw light on the one district, one product scheme of the government of Uttar Pradesh and asked the delegates to come forward and take the benefit for the growth of the profession and, in turn of the nation.
