Looking Ahead to the 2017 Taiwan Trade Shows

TAIPEI, TAIWAN - The Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) will be hosting 43 international shows in 2017.

Each year, TWTC hosts more than 40 annual international trade shows in Taiwan. The trade shows serve as excellent platforms for International business to source from and partner with Taiwanese companies. Together, the Taiwan Trade Shows would attract more than 10,000 local and international exhibitors and over 80,000 global buyers each year. In 2017, immense business opportunities in all of the world's key industries are expected to be generated by the Taiwan Trade Shows once again.

Many of the international trade shows organized by TWTC are the major annual events in their respective industries. For example, COMPUTEX TAIPEI is Asia's largest and the world's 2nd largest ICT show; TIMTOS is Asia's 2nd largest machine tool show; and Taipei AMPA is Asia's 3rd largest auto parts show. TWTC is also the host of Taipei Cycle, Asia's largest bicycle show, and Food Taipei, one of Asia’s major foods shows.

Meanwhile, as the Chinese New Year is drawing near, the festive Taiwan New Year Market Fair will be held at Exhibition Hall 1 of the Taipei World Trade Center in Taipei from Jan. 12 to 16, 2017. Known to feature international showcases and a huge lineup of high-quality products, the fair is expected to be joined by exhibitors from 20 countries, including Japan, Canada, Vietnam, Nepal, Bhutan, and Turkey.

Moreover, the first edition of Taiwan International Plastics, Rubber & Composites Show (PLASCOM Taiwan) will be held from Sep. 28 to Oct. 1 in 2017. The show will feature and showcase the latest trends in the plastics, rubber, composites, petrochemical, raw materials, and plastic components sectors.

In addition to hosting shows in Taiwan, TWTC will also organize events abroad in the world's emerging markets, such as Auto Expo Myanmar and Myanmar International Electrical, Electronics & Power Equipment Fair.
