On February 23, the "Invest in the Netherlands Entrepreneurs Dinner Meeting" co-hosted by CCPIT Shaanxi (WTC Xi’an) and the Consulate General of the Netherlands in Chongqing was successfully held in Xi'an. Ms. Yuhong Ma, Chairwoman of CCPIT Shaanxi / WTC Xi’an, and Mr. Huub Buise, Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Chongqing attended the event and delivered speeches. More than 20 delegates of 13 enterprises attended the event.
In her speech, Ms. Ma Yuhong said that Shaanxi and the Netherlands enjoy a sound foundation for cooperation, and with the deepening of the Belt and Road Initiative, the economic and trade exchanges between Shaanxi and the Netherlands have reached a new level. At present, the China-Europe freight train Chang 'an, which goes directly to Rotterdam in the Netherlands, and a direct international cargo flight from Xi 'an to Amsterdam have been launched from Shaanxi, injecting new impetus into bilateral economic and trade exchanges and cooperation. CCPIT Shaanxi will actively build platforms, leverage their respective industrial advantages, carry out various forms of meetings and events, and constantly deepen the economic and trade cooperation between Shaanxi and the Netherlands.
Mr. Buise said that this event is the first economic and trade activity of the Consulate General of the Netherlands in Chongqing this year. Through this event, Shaanxi and the Netherlands will further improve communications and exchanges between the two sides, provide opportunities for Shaanxi enterprises to understand the Dutch market and investment environment, build connection channels with the Netherlands, and open more space for the cooperation and development of the two sides.
At the meeting, Yan Xiaoqing, Director of West China Region of the Netherlands Foreign Investment Authority, made an introduction to the investment environment and laws and regulations of the Netherlands, and some Chinese enterprises shared their investment experience and experience in the Netherlands. Before the meeting, Mr. Buise and his delegation also visited ShaanGu Power, LONGI Green Energy and other well-known enterprises in our province.
