Chairman Jiang Dezhi met with PhilOrch CEO

On the afternoon of November 11, Jiang Dezhi, President of the CCPIT Tianjin / WTC Tianjin, had a brief meeting with Matías Tarnopolsky, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Philadelphia Orchestra, at the Tianjin Juilliard School, and the two sides expressed their desire to deepen the exchange between the sister cities of Tianjin and Philadelphia. At the event, Gary Beane, former president of the World Trade Center Philadelphia, also expressed his hope for further cooperation to implement the cooperation agreement signed between the CCPIT Tianjin / WTC Tianjin and the WTC Philadelphia back in September.

After the meeting, President Jiang Dezhi was invited to attend the performance of "Music Connects Culture: The Philadelphia Orchestra's Visit to Tianjin" co-organized by the Philadelphia Orchestra, Tianjin Conservatory of Music, Tianjin Juilliard School, and Tianjin Symphony Orchestra. The performance is part of a series of tours to commemorate the 50th anniversary of The Philadelphia Orchestra's first visit to China, which will also include stops in Beijing, Shanghai and Suzhou.
