Brainstorming on the New Global Trade Pattern

TIANJIN, CHINA - As a part of the 13th PECC international Trade and Investment Fair activity, the 17th Forum on Chinese Enterprises Going Global Strategies was held on May 12 in Tianjin co-hosted by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Tianjin Sub-Council (CCPIT Tianjin) and WTC Tianjin attracting around 100 corporation representatives.

Scott Wang, Vice President, Asia Pacific, WTCA, NY was invited as a keynote speaker to give a speech on the forum themed as Business Opportunities for Chinese Enterprises in New Global Landscape. He stressed an important role WTCA plays to connect business communities beyond boundaries around the world especially against the backdrop of De-Globalization when protectionism and isolationism are prevailing along with Brexit and successful election of Donald Trump.

As for the revolution in the global trade tools, CEO of FPT (Free Port Technology) shared his opinion on the forum about the innovation of global supply chain service against the background of the growing cross-boarder E-commerce. Meanwhile Ms Shi Xiaoling, Vice General Manager of China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation introduced the news types of insurance models to help export businesses, especially the private companies and startups to mitigate their unnecessary risks.

The form was well received among audience and ended up with the heated Q&A process and discussion.
