Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Meat Import and Cold Chain

On June 30, CCPIT Tianjin, together with CCPIT Beijing and CCPIT Hebei, co-hosted the "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei International Investment and Trade Fair" series event "2023 Meat Import Development and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Port Cold Chain Economy New Growth Forum" in Tianjin. Mr. Zhu Peng, Vice Mayor of Tianjin, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Mr. Jiang Dezhi, President of CCPIT Tianjin, Mr. Guo Zaolin, Vice President of CCPIT Tianjin, Mr. Guo Huaigang, President of CCPIT Beijing, Mr. Yuan Yongjun, Head of CCPIT Hebei, and leaders of other government departments in Tianjin attended the event and witnessed the signing. Nearly 500 representatives from Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Belarus, Russia, Pakistan, Spain, South Africa and other countries and relevant business representatives attended the meeting.

The Forum arranged a number of keynote speeches on trade facilitation, trade financing, and trade promotion of the development of cold chain bases, aiming to build a platform for international exchange and cooperation, promote the pooling of resources of enterprises in the three places, further explore new opportunities for the development of meat import, processing, finance, cold chain logistics and other industries, form a distinctive industrial chain and supply chain, and promote the vigorous development of the port economy.

During the Forum, the three CCPITs jointly signed an Action Plan for the Coordinated Development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Trade and Investment which provides guide for joint coordinated development in eight aspects, among which are innovative development, opening up to the outside world, exhibition economy, commercial law services, and trade and investment facilitation. Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Area Management Committee signed a strategic cooperation agreement with General Technology Group International Holdings Co., LTD. The meeting also facilitated the signing of the green supply chain industrial base project and the headquarters project of the agricultural products digital intelligence trading platform.
