A New Chair of WTCA Trade Service MAC APAC

Congratulations!  Ms. Xiaolan Zhu was elected as the  Chair of WTCA Trade Service Member Advisory Council APAC

On January 25, 2024, the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) announced that Ms. Zhu Xiaolan, Chief Representative of WTC Haikou, has been elected as the Chair of WTCA Trade Service Member Advisory Council (MAC) of the Asia-Pacific Region (APAC).

At the 2024 Global MAC Leaders Kick-off Meeting, the representative from WTCA's global stated that Ms. Zhu Xiaolan will inject new vitality into the WTCA Trade Service MAC APAC, and with her leadership, Trade Service MAC APAC is expected to play a greater role in creating more business opportunities for enterprises with the leverage of international networks.

Ms. Zhu Xiaolan claimed that she would actively perform her duties as Chair, taking advantage of being in the Hainan Free Trade Port to contribute to the Trade Service MAC APAC. She emphasized that the Asia-Pacific region is one of the most dynamic economic areas in the world, with great potential for future growth. It is our hope that the Trade Service MAC platform will facilitate substantive collaboration with more regional World Trade Centers, international organizations, and corporations.

Trade Service Member Advisory Council APAC is one of the six MACs under WTCA, aiming to strengthen the international networks among the WTCs in the Asia-Pacific region, and to facilitate exchanges and cooperation among cities and enterprises through organizing international conferences and exhibitions, Trade Mission, B2B matching, and other variety of forms on a yearly and quarterly basis.
