WINNIPEG, CANADA - The MIRIADE in France can count on World Trade Centre Winnipeg support for its Fast Forward Normandie program.

Fast Forward (FFWD) Normandie is the incubator/accelerator for international businesses of the French economic development organization, MIRIADE, and has won over the World Trade Centre Winnipeg (WTC Winnipeg).

“This 24-week program is truly added value for companies,” says Director for International Trade at the WTC Winnipeg, Virginie De Visscher. “It’s a very good model, accessible to any international company that wants to develop in France or in Europe. We strongly support it.”

WTC Winnipeg had already promoted FFWD Normandie in Winnipeg at the launch of the first season in 2014, as part of its What’s in it for EU (you)? series. Two Manitoba companies had applied for the first season.

“This fits perfectly into our Europe Market Access Program,” adds Virginie De Visscher. “FFWD Normandie is a facilitated gateway to Europe.”

Indeed the FFWD Normandie program provides each selected company with a mentor experienced in its professional sector to support it in every way possible in its initiative to develop in Europe. Networking and legal, administrative, material, even financial assistance, anything is possible.
