Building Relationships with Italy

Feb 21, 2016

WINNIPEG, CANADA - Mariette Mulaire, President and CEO of the World Trade Centre Winnipeg (WTC Winnipeg), went to Salerno and Rome, Italy, on February 8 and 9, 2016.
The purpose of this mission was to present business opportunities available in Manitoba.

“In Salerno, I met with the Chamber of Commerce on the local World Trade Centre (WTC) boards,” says Mariette Mulaire. “There were a good fifty businesses in attendance.” For business people in Italy, Manitoba’s main asset resides in the strong Italian community there.

“In Manitoba, we have Italian leaders in every sector of the economy,” the WTC Winnipeg President and CEO told the Chamber of Commerce of Salerno. Our Italian community is very strong, very organized, very involved, and very connected.

“If Italian businesses or entrepreneurs decided to work with Manitoba, they would find an entire community already in place to give them support,” she assured them.
