The workshop commenced on June 15 with an inaugural session. Dr Ramanathan , the CTO of Rallis India Limited, inaugurated the event, and we were honored to have Prof. Rajeev Varshney , Director of CCFI at Murdoch University, Australia, deliver a captivating keynote on Genomics for Sustainable Agriculture. The lineup of speakers includes renowned individuals such as Prof. Raghuvarshan Reddy, President of Agri Biotech Foundation , Prof. Reddanna Pallu, Executive President of FABA and Director of BioNEST, and many other distinguished personalities from esteemed institutions.

One of the highlights of the first day was the comprehensive overview of the Agri Biotech Foundation - India by Prof. Pakki Reddy Giddaluri, highlighting their significant contributions to the field. Additionally, Dr. Raman Sundaram provided valuable insights into the FABA, shedding light on their important initiatives.

As the workshop progresses, we eagerly anticipate the valuable contributions and insights from Prof. M V Rajam and Prof. Arjula R. Reddy, who is expected to make significant contributions to the ongoing discussions.

The first day concluded with hands-on sessions, providing participants with a practical understanding of the latest techniques and advancements in plant biotechnology.
